Privacy
Potluck Post is a small community tool. Here's how we handle your information, in plain language.
What We Collect
- Account info: Your name, email, and password (stored securely hashed).
- Event details: Event names, dates, locations, and descriptions you provide.
- Dish signups: Guest names and the dishes they sign up to bring.
- Optional info: Phone numbers or notes you choose to add.
How We Use It
We use your information for one purpose: making potluck planning work. That means displaying events, showing who's bringing what, and letting hosts manage their gatherings. That's it.
What We Don't Do
- We don't sell or share your data with third parties.
- We don't run third-party trackers or analytics.
- We don't send marketing emails.
- We don't use your data for advertising.
Data Storage
Your data is stored in a database on our server. Passwords are hashed — we never store them in plain text. We use session cookies to keep you logged in, nothing more.
Your Rights
You can update your profile information at any time. If you'd like your account and data deleted entirely, contact us and we'll take care of it.
